One of my pet hates is how people do research and how people use research.
So much so that I can safely say that you will be better off to ignore any research you are presented with than actually to rely on it.
Since it is this blog's birthday week - I can rant about whatever I want, so this is my little joke for the week.
This quote illustrates a common error made in research. If you can identify it and label it, then you probably know enough about research to safely use and responsibly use it.
